The Academy prospects continued working for 4 extra weeks after relegation, while goalkeeper Jesús López earns first-team role
UD Almería 'B' have officially wrapped up training sessions and brought the 2025/26 campaign to a definitive close. Although their competitive season ended on 3 May, the youth side continued working throughout the month in case the first team required additional players.
Goalkeeper Jesús López has now remained with the senior squad following the conclusion of the filial’s activities.
The Club are already preparing for significant changes within the setup, with arrivals and departures expected as they begin building a squad for life in Tercera RFEF Group IX after suffering relegation from Segunda RFEF this season.
The young Rojiblancos will once again come up against Málaga CF’s 'B' team and Melilla, who also dropped down a division. They will also face sides such as newly-promoted Cantoria and set for a local Almería derby alongside familiar opponents including Recreativo Granada, Torredonjimeno, Huétor-Tájar, Huétor-Vega, San Pedro and Mancha Real.
UD Almería 'B' return to the fifth tier after spending the last two seasons competing in Segunda RFEF.
