UD Almería 'B' host CD Minera with plenty of reasons to emerge victorious
The match will be played at 12 noon on Sunday at the Anexo UD Almería Stadium. For head coach Alberto Lasarte says: 'It's the most important of the season.' Season-ticket holders have free admission
UD Almería 'B' are preparing to face Murcia-based side CD Minera at 12 noon at the Anexo UD Almería Stadium. The match is 'the most important of the season so far,' according to head coach Alberto Lasarte. He emphasised: 'We have plenty of reasons to win the match and I'm telling the players that.' The first is 'reaching 44 points, which as I've been saying all season, will ensure virtual survival, as we'd be 11 points behind Minera, who are in the relegation zone and we'd surpass them in goal difference.'
Furthermore, as the Jaén-born added: 'We'd remain in the play-off zone and it'd be time to say that we're going to fight for promotion now without pressure.' But there are other arguments, such as cleaning up our image from the previous Matchday, when UD Almería 'B' suffered their heaviest defeat of the entire season at San Fernando (4-1).
The UD Almería 'B' continue to have absences and as Mr Lasarte said: 'We'll have to reinvent ourselves for another week.' He warns of the difficulties of the match because, although the opponents are on a bad run, 'they didn't deserve to lose their last three matches.'
The youthful Rojiblancos head coach made it clear: 'We'll come out to compete again in the best possible way.' UD Almería season-ticket holders have free admission to the match with their season card, while the rest of the game attendees' tickets price is €10.
