UD Almería 'B' play hosts to CD Estepona
The match, against rivals fighting to avoid the drop, will kick off at 7pm Spanish Time
UD Almería 'B' will play this Saturday at 7pm Spanish Time in Group IV of the Segunda RFEF, facing CD Estepona at the Anexo pitch. It will be the second consecutive home game and unlike usual, the match will not be played on Sunday. The staging of the Almería City Half Marathon has forced it to be brought forward to Saturday.
The youthful Rojiblancos, already relegated two weeks ago, will host opponents fighting for survival. In fact, Estepona currently occupy the relegation spots with 34 points, just 2 points away from the relegation play-off position and 5 from safety.
With 4 matches remaining in the season, the lads still have chances, but they need points and will come to Almería determined to take advantage of the home side’s situation to secure a win.
The UD Almería youth side have not won in their last 6 matches, recording 2 draws and 4 defeats. This will be the penultimate match of the season at the Anexo ground and José María Salmerón’s men will aim to finish the campaign on a positive note.
UD Almería season-ticket holders will have free access with their membership card, while general admission tickets will cost €10.
