UD Almería 'B' defend play-offs position this Sunday

The Academy prospects host CD Estepona, who are three points behind the Rojiblancos. Furthermore, Xerez CD, with the same number of points as UD Almería 'B', play the bottom team. Everything is still to be decided with four matches to go

There will be an immensely exciting league final in the Segunda RFEF Group IV with 4 matches remaining in the regular season, everything is still to be decided: both at the bottom, but also in the VIP zone in the fight for automatic promotion and for the 4 places that qualify for the promotion play-offs.

UD Almería 'B' are in one of those spots that may lead to promotion to a higher tier. They are 5th with 48 points, the same as sixth-placed Xerez CD, who play against the bottom team. CD Estepona are seventh with 45, who visit the Anexo this Sunday at 12 noon in a final-like match. The UDA Academy prospects are looking who comes behind them, but ahead of them they can also catch UCAM Murcia, third, and At. Antoniano, fourth.

Victory is key for the 'B' team especially considering that the next Matchday will see them visit Juventud de Torremolinos, who are fighting for automatic promotion. The Indálicos need these 3 points to give themselves some margin for error in a tremendously cut-throat competition. Goal difference will also be important. The Indálicos won in the first half of the season in Estepona (0-1).

UD Almería 'B', who are having a second half of the season with ups and downs are coming off a very tough performance against UCAM Murcia, where they drew with a clean sheet, something that will be vital this Sunday.

CD Estepona have not won their last two matches, but drew away from home with the league pacesetters and lost on home turf on the last Matchday to Atlético Antoniano, who are also at the top.

This is a match between two evenly-matched sides where home advantage could play a decisive role in this final stretch. The 'B' team need the support of the fans. Season-ticket holders have free access to the Anexo pitch while the tickets on general sale cost €10.
