UD Almería 'B' close out season at home with great uncertainty

The 'B' team hosts Cádiz Mirandilla this Sunday at 12 noon at the Anexo stadium, playing for their last chances of survival. The boys need a win and wait for other results to see if they can reach the promotion play-offs

UD Almería 'B' play the penultimate Matchday this Sunday, which will also be their last home game of the season, at least in terms of the regular season, as they still have a mathematical chance of reaching the play-offs for promotion to the Primera RFEF. It's complicated, but still possible.

The main objective has been brilliantly achieved: staying up in the new division for the first time. At 12 noon on Sunday, as we UD Almería 'B' will host Cádiz Mirandilla, the second team of the Cádiz-based club, at the Anexo stadium, playing for their last chances of survival. They need to win and hope to reach the final Matchday of the league with a chance of survival. They have a tough time, but in the return fixtures the lads are competing well feeling hopeful.

At the top of the table, the youthful Indálicos are 7th in the standings and need to reach 5th place to enter the promotion play-offs. They have 48 points, while Xerez CD are 6th with 49 and Estepona are 5th with 51 points. The Málaga outfit faces the Matchday away to Minera, who are already out of contention, while the Jerez side have a derby against Xerez Deportivo FC, who are fighting for survival.

UD Almería 'B' are confident that the necessary scores will be achieved to go into the final Matchday in Orihuela, where they have to out in the hard yards with a chance of reaching the promotion play-offs. The UD Almería 'B' team have a goal difference advantage over Xerez, but not Estepona, and this circumstance is a handicap.
