UD Almería B look to clinch first victory of season against Poli Almería

The game will be played at 12 noon this Sunday at the Anexo ground. Head coach Alberto Lasarte highlights that if they want to be at the top of the standings, they need to be very accurate at home

UD Almería 'B' are hosting recently promoted Club Polideportivo Almería at 12 noon this Sunday on the Anexo pitch as the Tercera RFEF Matchday 2 starts this weekend. The young Rojiblancos seek the first victory of the season in their home debut after starting the championship with a brilliant share of the spoils with Atlético Malagueño

Club Polideportivo Almería also added a point on the opening day. They did it playing hosts to UD Torre del Mar. 'They're going to be difficult opponents because they'll be very motivated by their return to this tier and it's also a well-worked team. We all know each other and it'll be a nice game,' said UD Almería 'B' head coach Alberto Lasarte.

The UDA Academy youth team's gaffer is sure that 'if we want to be at the top fighting for promotion positions, we need to be very accurate at home.' Next, he added: 'On the Anexo, we must secure the points and then collect as many points as possible on the trips.'

Alberto Lasarte hopes to count on the unwavering support of the fans this season because as he stressed 'the 'B' team want to stand out in their matches and entertain their supporters.' One has to keep in mind that the squad has been greatly renewed and there are numerous players who have moved up a rank from UD Almería U19 'A', with a greater Almeria-born presence than in previous campaigns.

There will be no tickets for sale since this is a local government facility. UD Almería 'B' have offered Poli Almería close to 30% of the capacity with free tickets. UD Almería season-ticket holders will have free access with their season card until full capacity is reached.
