UD Almería 'B' out to spring a surprise against unbeaten CD Minera stadium

The Academy prospects visit veteran and experienced opponents at 12 noon on Sunday. Losing at home, the Rojiblancos are looking to regain their momentum

UD Almería 'B' face another league fixture against CD Minera in Murcia, rivals who remain unbeaten after the first 3 matches. They won away to Xerez Deportivo (1-3), then beat CD Estepona (1-0) at home, a team that played in the promotion play-offs last season. In their last match, they drew in Melilla after trailing 2-0.

CD Minera are experienced and veteran opponents, who benefit from the characteristics of their pitch, a small field where they know how to take advantage of set-pieces, among other good reasons.

UD Almería 'B' are ready to spring a surprise and regain momentum after suffering their second defeat of the season at the UD Almería Anexo . Head coach Alberto Lasarte states that his team are still adapting after the roster overhaul and therefore there is significant room for improvement, although he acknowledges that working to earn points would be much better.

The gaffer wants his players to achieve another away victoryile they did against Atlético Malagueño (0-1), although he emphasises: 'We must be patient and keep it up.'
