Houboulang Mendes leaves UD Almería after contract termination agreement
The 27-year-old right-back departs after 2 seasons with the Club
Houboulang Mendes has officially left UD Almería after the Club reached an agreement to terminate his contract, which was set to run until June 2026.
The French right-back, who joined the Club in 2022, has had a turbulent spell, spending time on loan at both CD Mirandés and French second-tier side ESTAC Troyes in the past 2 seasons.
The 27-year-old featured in 23 matches for UD Almería, including 14 LaLiga appearances in his first season (2022/23) and 7 top-flight appearances plus 2 Spanish Cup outings during the 2023/24 campaign.
However, with limited opportunities in the senior squad, the 25-year-old spent the second half of the 2023/24 season at CD Mirandés before moving to ESTAC Troyes for the 2024/25 campaign.
