17 UD Almería Academy youth teams officially presented

From the UDA youngest dribblers to the young seasoned strikers, around 500 youth players were recognised for their hard work and total commitment throughout the 2024/25 season

The Club took advantage of the UD Almería first team's match against Real Racing Club of Santander to display the UD Almería youth system.

Around 500 youth products from the 17 UDA Academy youth teams and the Club's Foundation, which manages the women's team, took to the pitch at the UD Almería Stadium to a standing ovation from the cheering fans.

Women's football continues to grow and aside from the UD Almería Women first team, who have been fighting for promotion in the Tercera RFEF, there is a 'B' girls team and also a youth team.

As for the UDA men's youth academy, there are 13 youth sides, most of whom occupy the top positions in their respective leagues, having already lifted several championship titles.

In addition, UD Almería 'B' narrowly missed out on the play-offs for promotion to the third-tier Primera RFEF in their Segunda RFEF season debut.

As for the two UDA Under-19s 'A' and 'B' teams, both compete in the top national tiers at U19s level and there are also two 'A' and 'B' youth teams at U16s, U14s, U12s, U10s, U8s level. Members of the Club's Football Academy also took to the pitch.
