The Portuguese player, who had become a permanent UD Almería player, has been transferred to Al-Ula FC, an ambitious project aiming for promotion to the Saudi Pro League
André Horta, who just over a month ago signed permanently for UD Almería after the Club activated the purchase option included in his loan deal from Braga for the 2025/26 season, is now moving to Saudi Arabia.
The Portuguese midfielder, UD Almería and Al-Ula FC have reached an agreement for the player’s transfer. He will play in the second tier of Saudi football, although at a Club that is on the rise and whose main objective is promotion to the Saudi Pro League. André Horta will be one of their key players.
It is worth remembering that the Portuguese played on loan at UD Almería last season, making a total of 20 appearances, 19 in the league and one in the Copa del Rey. Injuries prevented him from enjoying a consistent run of games.
UD Almería thank Horta for his professionalism and commitment. Until recently, he had been training with the UD Almería squad.
