El Bilal Touré was operated on by the Doctor Ripoll's team in Madrid after the injury sustained on his right thigh -rectus femoris muscle- during the match against Sevilla FC. It was decided that he needed surgery after several diagnostic tests and various X-rays.
His age, strength and explosiveness were also taken into account before the decision was made. The Malian centre-forward's recovery period will be long but time will tell. The UD Almeria medical services report that the operation went well and the 21-year-old has already started his road to recovery last Sunday.
Sergio Akieme also picked up the same injury at the same venue -Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium-, but it is less serious. The 25-year-old left-back's recovery period will also depend on his rehab.
