Miguel Romera returns home to join UD Almería 'B'

The former Real Madrid youngster becomes the team's 9th summer signing for the 2025/26 season

UD Almería ‘B’ continue to build their squad for the new season with a familiar face returning to the club. Miguel Romera, a 23-year-old midfielder from Almería, has signed from Real Madrid ‘C’, becoming the 9th addition to the 'B' team ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

Romera was born on 4 March, 2002, in La Cañada, a neighborhood in Almería. He rose through the youth ranks at UD Almería before making a big move in August 2018 to join Real Madrid CF’s academy.

Over the next 7 years, he played for various teams at the Spanish giants, including Real Madrid CF’s youth sides, Castilla and ‘C’ team. Now, he is back to represent his hometown club once again.

Romera is the 9th signing for UD Almería 'B' this summer as the Club work hard to strengthen the squad. He joins new team-mates including:

  • Zorro (goalkeeper, from Lorca Deportiva)

  • Vicente Agulló (full-back, from Elche Ilicitano)

  • Martim Alberto (full-back, from Vitória Guimarães B)

  • Miguel Operé (centre-back, from Lleida CF)

  • Nico Fernández (winger, from Real Avilés)

  • Félix Pérez (winger, from Mijas La Laguna)

  • Juan Asirón (attacking midfielder, from CD Subiza)

With Romera’s talent and experience from one of the world’s biggest clubs, UD Almería 'B' are hoping he will be a key player in their push for success this season.
