UD Almería gear up for Spanish Cup second-round tie against Cultural Leonesa

The Rojiblancos have trained at the Stadium, where they will also meet again this Tuesday. On Wednesday, the same day of the match the travelling squad will fly charter to León. UDA 'B' player Lorenzo joins first-team training

UD Almería take a LaLiga Hypermotion break to turn their attention, once again, to the Spanish Cup second-round tie that will be played at 8pm (Spanish Time) on Wednesday against Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa at the Reino de León Stadium.  The tie will be played as a single-legged match.

The Rojiblancos have begun to prepare this Monday for the Cup test, which will be really demanding. The opponents have a recent past in professional football, to which they are eager to return. They are current third-tier Primera RFEF Group 1 pacesetters   eight points ahead of the runners-up. On top of that, the Leoneses have won away from home against Nástic de Tarragona (2-3). However, it is interesting that the only two games that Cultural have lost have been the last two played at home against Sestao and Bilbao Athletic.

UD Almería are aware that they are going to face difficult opponents who will also have the home advantage in their favour. Their stadium has a capacity for about 13,000 fans. UD Almería 'B' forward Lorenzo has joined first-team training. He was already called up and played in the previous Cup tie against San Sebastián de los Reyes.

This Tuesday afternoon, UD Almería will have a final training session prior to the Cup event in León, where they will travel on the same Wednesday by charter flight.
