UD Almería know the way to follow

The Rojiblancos are preparing for the next match against Real Zaragoza, which in the first leg served to react in the league and begin the 14-game unbeaten run that took the team from relegation to the top of the table

The Rojiblancos have begun a long week that will finish on Saturday with the match against Real Zaragoza at the UD Almería Stadium (Matchday 31). After 8 consecutive games without winning, the team are looking for the turning point that will lead them to react in the competition; the same one they found against Real Zaragoza in the first half of the season.

After losing in Oviedo on the past Matchday 9, the team returned to play away at La Romareda Stadium, where they won 1-2. Since then, 14 consecutive games without losing, with 10 victories and 4 draws that took the team from the relegation places to the top of the table.

As a result, UD Almería know the way to follow, especially when they are going to battle it out now with half of the rivals from then. The rest, for the most part, have also been beaten. On Matchday 10, when they won in Zaragoza, the Maños were 4th in the table and had been leaders before. At present the situation is very complicated because the Aragoneses are only 2 points away from the drop zone, where they can fall if they are defeated by UD Almería and if CD Eldense, who beat them on this past Matchday, beat the leaders CD Mirandés.

The team coached by Rubi have five sessions ahead to prepare for Saturday's match in order to face it with confidence and return to the path that began against Real Zaragoza and which they followed successfully until losing in Albacete three months later.
