The Club and the player have reached an agreement to terminate his contract, bringing his time with the Rojiblancos to an end after joining in the 2021/22 season
UD Almería can confirm that Álex Pozo is no longer a Rojiblanco player after the two parties reached an agreement to bring an end to his spell at the Club.
The Sevilla-born player leaves after 5 seasons with UD Almería, during which he made 130 appearances, with the exception of last season. Among his many contributions, he played an important role in the team’s most recent promotion to top-tier LaLiga EA Sports.
Alejandro Pozo spent last season on loan in Poland’s top-flight with Jagiellonia Białystok, where he scored 2 goals and produced 4 assists in 33 appearances in the top division of Polish football Ekstraklasa, starting 28 of those matches. He also featured in the Europa League qualifiers and the competition itself, with the Polish side eventually being eliminated in the intermediate stage of the league phase.
UD Almería thank Alejandro Pozo for his professionalism and total commitment throughout his time at the Andalusian Club.
