Dyego Sousa leaves UD Almería
The Brazilian-Portuguese centre-forward, who had one more season remaining in his deal, will not longer be a Rojiblanco
UD Almería and Dyego Sousa have reached a mutual agreement to terminate his contract that was meant to expire in June 2024. The São José de Ribamar native joined the Rojiblancos in the past 2021/22 season, almost at the end of the summer transfer window.
The centre-forward then signed for one season, although a few months later, he extended his deal until June 2024.
The Portuguese-Brazilian footballer has featured in a total of 47 games with UD Almería, scoring 5 goals and adding 5 assists to his name. Last season, the 33-year-old played one Copa del Rey tie and 20 Primera Division fixtures clocking up a total of 513 minutes. In the previous term, the one in which the Indálicos achieved promotion to the top flight, he was lined up 24 times in the Segunda Division, netting the five goals mentioned above, and finding the back of the net twice in the Spanish Cup tournament.
UD Almería wish Dyego Sousa the best of luck and thank him for his professionalism and total commitment to the Club.
