UD Almeria return to the Ciudad de Valencia Stadium 7 years later

The Rojiblancos' last visit took place back in March 2017 and left Valencia city with a narrow defeat. Around 300 UD Almería travelling fans will be in the Levante UD stadium stands on Sunday

UD Almería, with the initials UD, and Levante UD have faced each other 16 times in LaLiga, both in the Primera and Segunda division, with 8 of these face-offs taking place at the Ciudad de Valencia stadium that the Rojiblancos visit this Sunday, seven years and a half later. In fact, the last time they did it was in the 2016/17 season on Matchday 13, also in the second tier of Spanish football (19 March, 2017) which ended with the result of 1-0. The truth is that the visits to the Valencian capital have not been favourable to UD Almería since only one but emphatic victory was recorded (2-4) in the 2005/06 campaign.

The other 7 games, defeats, most of them being edged out. Both sides have not seen each other for a long time as they do not coincide in the same tier.

In Primera, they locked horns in the 2007/08, 2010/11, 2013/14 and 2014/15 seasons. In Segunda, in 2002/03, 2003/04, 2005/06 and 2016/17. As it is not an excessively long trip (120km more than the last one to Elda) there will be the presence of approximately UDA travelling fans 300 who will travel to cheer on UD Almería.
