UD Almería return home after international break
Rubi’s side welcomes Embarba and Lopy, but misses out on 4 players called up for international duty
After 2 consecutive away games, UD Almería are set to return to their home ground on Saturday, 11 October, for their match against Real Zaragoza. It will be their first home game in 21 days since their 2-0 victory over Sporting de Gijón.
Head coach Rubi will be able to count on the return of Embarba, who has completed his suspension and Lopy, who is expected to be fit after recovering from injury. However, the team will be without four key players who have been called up for international duty: Soko (Cameroon), Perovic (Montenegro), Dzodic (Serbia U21), and Almería-born Bruno Iribarne, who is making his Spain U21 debut.
The squad resume training on Tuesday, following a recovery session on Sunday and a rest day on Monday, as they prepare for the upcoming fixture at home.
