UD Almería Women visit second-placed Granada CF 'B' ready to spring upset

The UD Almeria girls will play their chances of reaching the promotion play-offs on Sunday against rivals fighting for automatic promotion to the top flight. Jessi and Paqui Campoy have been called up for the Spanish beach soccer team

UD Almería Women will play almost all of their chances of reaching the play-offs for promotion in this Sunday's away match against Granada CF 'B' Women, who are fighting for automatic promotion. They are second in the table, and the top two are automatically promoted.

For the UD Almeria girls, everything is more complicated because, apart from having to win, in the remaining games they need their closest rivals to lose. The Indálicas, who have spent 8 consecutive matches without defeat, have won their last 4 away matches and will fight to keep it up in Granada, although they will face a team of undeniable potential that, if they don't slip up, will be in the higher tier next season. The match seems more than complicated for UD Almería Women.

On another note, two of UD Almería Women's players, captain Jessi and Paqui Campoy, have been called up to the Spanish national beach soccer team for a 4-day training camp next week in Málaga. Both players are regulars in the national team and key players in the squad.
