Lopy completes permanent move to Al-Ittihad FC

The Senegalese midfielder departs after 3 seasons and 105 appearances for the Rojiblancos. He will play for one of the most successful clubs in Saudi Arabia

UD Almería, Al-Ittihad FC and Dion Lopy have reached an agreement for the permanent transfer of the Senegalese midfielder to the Saudi Arabian club.

Lopy leaves the team's training camp in Marbella to begin the next chapter of his football career with one of the most successful clubs in Saudi Arabian football.

The midfielder joined UD Almería ahead of the 2023/24 season from French side Stade de Reims and went on to become one of the team's most influential players and a fan favourite during his time at the Andalusian Club.

Over the course of 3 seasons, Lopy made 105 appearances in all competitions, featuring 30 times in LaLiga, 6 in the Spanish Cup, 63 in LaLiga Hypermotion and 6 in the promotion play-offs.

Although he had recently signed a contract extension until 2030, the parties have now agreed to his permanent transfer.
