Babić completes permanent move to FC Spartak Moscow
The Serbian central defender will no longer be a Rojiblanco after having played 75 games with UD Almería in two unforgettable seasons
Srđan Babić has completed a permanent move to FC Spartak Moscow after the agreement reached by UD Almería, the Russian Club and the Serbian central defender.
The 27-year-old departs UD Almería after two brilliant seasons in which he was a key player not only in achieving promotion, but also in reaching the goal of guaranteeing top flight status.
Babić, who formed a good defensive tandem with Rodrigo Ely, has played a total of 75 games for UD Almería. In his first campaign, 2021/22, he was lined up in 40 games, 37 in the league and 3 in the Copa del Rey. Last campaign, in the top tier of Spanish football, he featured in 34 fixtures, and registered three goals. In the current season, he played the league opener against Rayo Vallecano.
