UD Almería graft away to overcome obstacles along the way

The official 2024/25 season is about to begin, and with it, UD Almería's participation in second-tier LaLiga Hypermotion with big clubs and high competition. So much so that it is expected to be the most even and exciting campaign in the history of this division, which seemed to have already reached its ceiling in terms of its level... but it seems that was not the case. 

UD Almería have set themselves a clear objective. It is a long road that will have numerous obstacles of different kinds. The Indálicos are well aware of all this fact and are grafting away to overcome them. 

The squad continue gearing up for their debut on Sunday at 5pm in Santander, against rivals who, as we have already reported, fell just short of the promotion play-off last season. Therefore, it will be a very demanding start to the new season, although like everyone else in the championship will be.

Head coach Rubi has worked with his players on tactics, recreation of match situations and continues to refine the different aspects of the game to pick out his very first Starting XI of the league in order to face the season opener at the Campos de Sport de El Sardinero Stadium. The gaffer is also insisting on finishing drills to take advantage of the chances they create, something that will be key in this tough-looking campaign that is about to kick off.
