Spain may have added a second European Under-19 title to their honours, and UD Almería have welcomed home one of its newest champions. Quim Yunyent, who recently helped Spain lift the UEFA European Under-19s Championship trophy, has arrived in Almería and completed his routine medical assessments on Monday ahead of joining the squad for training.

The young midfielder is set to begin work with García Pimienta's squad during a week that will conclude with the Club's first pre-season friendly of the summer.

Following Sunday's scheduled day off, the team returned to training at the Anexo training ground. The session featured all available first-team players, with the focus placed entirely on ball work after the squad completed their usual activation exercises inside the UDA Stadium facilities.

The squad now faces a busy week, with 6 more training sessions scheduled before Saturday's friendly against Águilas FC, which kicks off at 8pm. The programme includes alternating double-session days as preparations continue to intensify ahead of the new campaign.

The Rijiblancos remain fully committed to making the most of every training session as they continue to raise both their individual performance levels and the team's collective standards.

The only player yet to report for pre-season is Brian Cipenga, who is expected to arrive in Almería later this week.
