UD Almería tuning up for Sunday's clash against Pucela

The Rojiblancos are back to training at the Power Horse Stadium where they will have one more practice this Saturday evening ahead of the last home fixture of the season

UD Almería are tuning up for Sunday's crunch survival clash against Real Valladolid CF at the Power Horse Stadium (kick-off 7pm Spanish Time). The Rojiblancos will go all out for a win to secure their Spanish top flight status. In fact, a victory would make their league survival mathematically certain. Otherwise, they will have to switch on the calculator in their visit to Espanyol de Barcelona seven days later.

The UD Almería players are putting full focus on their next battle and have trained in the stadium where they will participate in another football practice this Saturday evening. Head coach Rubi has delivered instructions on the tactics and game strategy that he wants his side to display in order to overcome direct rivals Real Valladolid CF, who are the third bottom team at the minute.

In addition, like UD Almería, Pucela have a couple of demanding fixtures against fellow strugglers ahead that could define their season. Both UD Almería and Real Valladolid CF are not doing so well on the road. The Blanquivioletas have collected 11 points away from home so far, 4 more than the Indálicos.

Real Valladolid CF have managed to beat Getafe CF, Real sociedad and Villarreal CF and shared the spoils with Sevilla FC at the Sánchez Pizjuan Stadium and Elche CF. They are coming off beating FC Barcelona 3-1 as they put an end to a five-game losing streak. Meanwhile, UD Almería rely on their home strength and will try to save the campaign in front of their fans that will fill the Stadium to capacity.

El Bilal Touré continues to train with the group, which is great news if we take into account the absences of injured Léo Baptistão and suspended Luis Suárez.
