UD Almería to play to remain in the top flight

The Rojiblancos face the last day of the LaLiga Santander this Sunday with the firm intention of achieving the main goal of the season

UD Almería will play to remain in the top flight at 9pm this Sunday in the last clash of the last Matchday against RCD Espanyol at the RCDE Stadium. The Rojiblancos will visit a recently already-relegated rivals, but do not trust their state at the moment, especially when the hosts will try to say goodbye to the season in the best way in front of their fans.

UD Almería depend on themselves and they will save the campaign through either a victory or a draw … even a defeat will do as long as Real Valladolid CF or Celta de Vigo lose, but the Indálicos do not want to look at other results and they do want to use theirs to get it out forward. In fact, they want to show on the pitch that they are fighting to avoid the drop. Therefore, they will have highest motivation and concentration to come out and compete and make it.

The squad has completed one last training session this Saturday evening, the fifth of the week, at the Power Horse Stadium. This Sunday (10:15am) the travelling squad will get on a charter flight to Barcelona.

Rubi does not know if he will be able to count on striker Luis Suárez and, as he commented at the press conference prior to the game, El Bilal Touré is not fit one hundred percent, but he has done well throughout the week.
