UD Almería gearing up for first trip of season against Cádiz CF

The Rojiblancos are back in training as they begin preparations for Saturday's first away game at the Nuevo Mirandilla Stadium

UD Almería are back in training after having rested last Monday. Now they are turning their attention to next Saturday's away match against Cádiz CF at the Nuevo Mirandilla Stadium (Matchday 3). It will be the first trip of the 2023/24 season for the Rojiblancos, who played their two first fixtures of the championship on home turf against Madrid-based teams Rayo Vallecano and Real Madrid CF.

UD Almería head coach Vicente Moreno has all the players available except for Léo Baptistão who is in the final stretch of his recovery from the injury he suffered last campaign and that forced him to undergo surgery. The Brazilian attacker continues training along with the group and each time with a higher level of demand.

The Rojiblancos have worked on recreating various match situations and tactics this Tuesday in order to improve their performance on the pitch and at the same time, go laying the foundations of the tricks that they will use against Cádiz CF with the aim of adding the first points of the season.

Although the team found positives for the future in the previous performances in LaLiga EA Sports, Vicente Moreno made it clear at the post-Real Madrid presser: 'This is all about winning.'
