
UD Almería set sights on Valencia CF hoping to get first W

The UD Almería first-team players are back to training at the Anexo pitch following some downtime last Monday. They begin to gear up for Saturday's 9pm local time fixture against Valencia CF at the Power Horse Stadium (Matchday 6).
The match will be the first of the three appointments that the Indálicos will have to face in a week because on Tuesday, 26th September, they will be flying out to the Andalusian capital in order to take on Sevilla FC, while on Sunday, 1st October, it will be rivals Granada CF's turn to visit the southern coast of Spain for a 2pm kick-off (Spanish Time).
At the moment, the Rojiblancos are focused squarely on Valencia CF as their are still trying to get the first W of the 2023/24 season despite having merited more points on previous Matchdays.
Alejandro Pozo has started doing individual ball work on the grass, whereas Marc Pubill has been exercising with the physiotherapists. Both players, who missed out in Villarreal, are making progress in their respective recoveries.
This Wednesday, UD Almería will be back at the training office. Then, on Thursday, football drills will be practised on the same stage as the game, the Power Horse Stadium. On Friday, last session before facing the encounter against a Valencia CF, who have just earned a comprehensive victory over Atlético de Madrid. (3-0).
