UD Almería prepare for big play-offs challenge
The Rojiblancos are working up a sweat to try to defeat Real Oviedo, who have earned 3 Ds and 7 Ws in the last 10 league fixtures. The Asturias side are entering the promotion play-offs in great form
UD Almería continue to work up a sweat for the big play-offs challenge of trying to move up to the Primera division. This weekend, the promotion play-offs begin for the Rojiblancos with the match against Real Oviedo at home on Saturday at 9pm (Spanish Time).
The Indálicos are now preparing for this first leg of the promotion semi-finals and have been training behind closed doors at the same venue as the clash, the UD Almería Stadium. Now, the stands are silent and empty. On Saturday, they will be a hive of activity with a cheering crowd ready to play their role as the 12th Man, something that will be key in the tie.
UD Almería are well aware they have a demanding and difficult tie ahead of them, but they also know of their potential, strengths and the solid momentum they have built up to this moment of truth. Real Oviedo also know this and UD Almería will prove it on Saturday to try to obtain a good result ahead of the return leg on Wednesday, 11 June at the Carlos Tartiere stadium.
