The Rojiblancos will hold a morning training session on the island before arriving back in Almería in the early afternoon. Tuesday will be a day off with preparations resuming on Wednesday ahead of the trip to Sabadell
UD Almería will hold a training session in Tenerife on Monday before travelling back to Almería, following Sunday evening’s match at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López Stadium, which saw the Rojiblancos suffer their first defeat of the season.
The travelling squad will return in the early afternoon, while Tuesday will be a day off for the players. Training will resume on Wednesday as the team turn its attention to its second consecutive away fixture, against fellow newly promoted side CE Sabadell FC on Saturday at 5pm (Spanish Time).
Goalkeeper Aron Yaakobishvili and forward Thalys, who were unavailable for selection in Tenerife, travelled with the squad so they could train alongside their team-mates. In the Hungarian goalkeeper’s case, the trip also provided an opportunity to continue settling into the Rojiblancos’ first-team set-up.
Xavier García Pimienta’s side will have three training sessions, in addition to Monday’s session, to prepare for the match in Sabadell. The Indálicos will train at the Stadium on Wednesday and Friday, before travelling, while Thursday’s practice will take place at the Anexo training ground.
