UD Almería are now focused once again on the league and Sunday's Andalusian derby against Málaga CF at La Rosaleda Stadium. The Rojiblancos will train as soon as they touch down. Those players who got the most minutes under their belt in León will have an active recovery session, while the rest will exercise at higher intensity, including the players who did not travel to North Spain, such as Fernando, Chumi, Lopy and Luis Suárez.
On Friday, a new training day takes place in order to prepare for Sunday's important meeting at La Rosaleda. On Saturday, before heading out to Málaga in the afternoon, the last training session.
Post-match fatigue will be a handicap for the Rojiblancos as they are immersed in a packed schedule with Copa del Rey and the league fixtures. On the contrary, Málaga CF will head into the game feeling fresher as they exited the Spanish Cup in the first round after losing to CD Estepona.
