UD Almería return home without unpacking bags

The Rojiblancos will prepare for another major away fixture. Girona FC will be the opposition for them on the next Matchday, once again playing away from home

UD Almería returned to the city of Almería this Saturday after the match in Eibar. However, they will once again be on the road next week when they travel to Girona.

The Rojiblancos will play their third consecutive match away from home, following their Copa del Rey fixture and the game at Ipurúa. Once again, they face a challenging venue. On Sunday at 4:15pm, García Pimienta’s men will visit Girona FC, a former top-tier LaLiga side.

The squad will train this Sunday. The session will be a recovery workout for those who played the most minutes against SD Eibar, while the remaining players will follow a normal training programme.

After a rest day on Monday, the team will spend the rest of the week preparing every detail for the fixture against Girona FC. It will be an especially long week, which the coaching staff hopes to make the most of.

UD Almería have just completed a demanding run of 3 matches in one week. This time, they will have the opportunity to work under better conditions, with 5 training sessions scheduled. Tuesday’s session, incidentally, will take place in the afternoon.
