A dose of motivation for UD Almería at Torrecárdenas hospital

UD Almería have received a dose of high motivation in their visit to the Torrecárdenas University Hospital on the occasion of an event organised by the UD Almería fan club that has been created in this medical centre. Three first-team co-captains represented UD Almería: Fernando, Melero and Chumi. The trio of players thanked the initiative launched not only by the fan club but the entire hospital. In fact, its managing director, Manuel Vida, who hosted the event, highlighted the strong support that the hospital always receives from UD Almería at all times, including their backing during the Covid-19 pandemic with the generous donation made by Club president and owner Turki Alalshikh.
Manuel Vida encouraged the players to move forward so that they could find a way to reverse the situation in the league and also pointed out that the Torrecárdenas Hospital will always be with them regardless of the division in which they compete.
The UD Almería fan club, made up of more than 70 hospital staff members (doctors, nurses...) is chaired by Dr Humberto Kessel, who let the footballers know how much they mean for these medical personnel as the matches played by UD Almería are a kind of 'therapy' to disconnect from everyday life at the Torrecárdenas Hospital, where they have a demanding job of full responsibility.
