UD Almería back to training with focus set on Cádiz CF
The Rojiblancos step up preparations for Saturday's match against Cádiz CF
UD Almería are back to training after a day off on Tuesday with the focus now firmly set on Saturday's derby against Cádiz CF at the Nuevo Mirandilla stadium scheduled for 9pm (Spanish Time). This clash is part of Matchday 25 and the 4th fixture of the second half of the season.
The team held a behind-closed-doors session at the Anexo base, with training at the stadium planned for Thursday and Friday to fine-tune preparations ahead of the upcoming fixture.
UD Almería are travelling on Saturday, the day of the match, flying via charter to Jerez de la Frontera, before continuing by road to Cádiz city.
Dzôdić, who is suspended due to an accumulation of yellow cards will sit out the game. Meanwhile, Chumi, Lopy and Nico Melamed are still being closely monitored. Chumi has returned to full training, having rejoined the group last Monday, while the other two continue with tailored recovery work-outs. Their availability will depend on how they progress in the coming days.
The Indálicos, who secured a vital victory last Sunday after 3 winless games, is determined to keep the positive momentum going and continue securing important results to maintain their place among the top teams in the league. Cádiz CF, who have lost their last 3 matches, will be looking to bounce back and find their form.
