UD Almería open Matchday 39 with two top-4 clashes

The Rojiblancos visit Cádiz CF on Friday (8:30pm Spanish Time) eager to build on the good vibes they brought against CD Eldense. On Saturday, there's an Elche CF vs Levante UD match and on Sunday, Racing Santander vs Real Oviedo

UD Almería step up preparations to build on the good vibes they brought against CD Eldense. Cádiz CF will be hosting the Rojiblancos at the Nuevo Mirandilla Stadium for a 8:30pm kick-off.

UD Almería open Matchday 39 with the firm intention of radically changing the poor run of results of their away matches. The squad has been working with this objective, now behind closed doors at the UD Almería Stadium, because a positive result could have a significant impact. On that note, the UD Almería first team could take advantage of the top-of-the-table clashes this weekend between the teams fighting for promotion. In fact, the top-4 teams are playing each other. On Saturday, Elche CF vs Levante UD (6:30pm Spanish Time) and, on Sunday, Racing Santander vs Real Oviedo (2pm Spanish Time).

CD Mirandés, 5th in the standings, host CD Castellón with survival already secured. Behind UD Almería, Granada CF, 3 points behind and with a better goal difference, play SD Éibar on Monday at the Nuevo Los Cármenes Stadium, while SD Huesca visit Albacete Balompié.

Once this Matchday is over, there will be 3 more matches to go with new top-of-the-table clashes, this time involving UD Almería, who face Racing de Santander at home next week and travel to Miranda de Ebro the following week to play CD Mirandés.
