Winning game against Valencia CF could be turning-point of UD Almería's season
The Rojiblancos, who have lost all three games played at home so far, are raring to break their hoodoo as soon as possible in the league and move forward
UD Almería truly hope that Saturday's match against Valencia CF is a turning-point after picking up a single point on five Matchdays. As a result, they are raring to earn all three points from now on and make their presence known in the Spanish top-tier league.
The Rojiblancos are preparing themselves to face the LaLiga EA Sports Matchday 6 this Saturday at the Power Horse Stadium. Valencia CF, who will be welcomed down south from 6pm local time, will arrive in great shape following their astounding victory over Atlético de Madrid.
The team led by Vicente Moreno is actually not doing badly given the fact that their are getting good vibes from their performances, however they are struggling to get the first W of the campaign. Their lack of effectiveness and precision in the defensive and final thirds is taking its toll. The last two games against the Celtistas, on home turf, and against Villarreal CF, at the La Cerámica Stadium, are clear examples of their bad luck.
It is time to break their hoodoo and UD Almería are well aware that they have chances to reverse the situation. The players are addressing their mistakes and have outlined a recovery plan that consists of being more effective when shooting at goal and defending their own half of the pitch with more confidence.
The Indálicos have not had the reward they deserve yet, while their rivals have obtained the spoils of victory. It will be a tough encounter since, as Mr Moreno explained, the Valencianistas are the team that creates the fewest chances at the moment.
On a positive note, UD Almería are playing at home with their devoted fans cheering on them, a fact that will surely boost their chances of restoring the fort built last season at the Power Horse Stadium.
