UD Almería Women want to start a new season on the right foot

The Rojiblancas visit Alhama de Murcia Women 'B' at 6pm this Sunday to play the season opener. Both sides already face each other in a pre-season friendly

UD Almería Women are ready to begin a new season in the Group V Tercera RFEF division, different from the previous campaign and with important objectives since the Rojiblancas are not going to make it easy.

The majority of this season's rivals will be Andalusian and also from the Spanish regions of Extremadura and Murcia, with a small representation from Castile-La Mancha.

The Indálicas begin the regular season by visiting Alhama de Murcia B for the season opener that will be held on Sunday at 6pm.

Both girls sides already met in the pre-season, also shortly after knowing the 2024/25 fixture list and that they would face each other on Matchday 1, so they 'hid their cards so as not to give too many clues.' Therefore, the friendly match, held at the Emilio Campra Youth Stadium with a Murcia victory, cannot be taken as a reference.

Both outfits know each other quite well and UD Almería Women truly hope to get off to a good start by shocking their opponents away from home.
