UD Almería ready to boss the ball against RC Celta de Vigo

The Rojiblancos are hosting the Galicians at 10pm local time this Friday at the Power Horse Stadium with the aim of achieving the first victory of the 2023/24 season

UD Almería are now ready to face RC Celta de Vigo at 10pm local time this Friday at the Power Horse Stadium (Matchday 4 LaLiga EA Sports). The Rojiblancos are eager to achieve their first victory of the 2023/24 season and reach the international break with four points in the table, one figure that would certainly boost the confidence and self-esteem of the team led by Vicente Moreno.

So far, two defeats at home against Rayo Vallecano (with two penalties) and Real Madrid CF (who had a hard time at times in Almería) as well as a one-all draw with rivals Cádiz CF are the results obtained that don't reflect their good vibes and invigorated performances. Once the fitness levels of the latest summer additions have been ramped up, UD Almería will seek to make the score fairer with the strengths displayed in the previous matches. Therefore, the Indálicos will have to be the best version of themselves, do things right on the pitch and remain fully focused at all times, as Vicente Moreno has highlighted in the press conference prior to the encounter.

RC Celta de Vigo, who have also collected one point in the standings, will head into the game with the same intentions to win with chances due to the potential of the squad with talented players, including Iago Aspas.

UD Almería have been putting in the graft during this short week to be able to achieve its objective. They are eager to boss the ball and the game so as to get closer and closer to what the head coach wants from his side. Édgar, sent off in Cádiz, will be the only absentee.

The Rojiblancos have held a training session, behind closed doors, this Thursday morning. It was the last practice conducted in the same venue of Friday's match, the Power Horse Stadium, where the unwavering support of the fans will be key to achieve victory.
