UD Almería raring to bounce back against Granada CF

The Rojiblancos seek to begin to make their presence felt in the league in a key match against Andalusian direct rivals this Sunday

UD Almería are gearing up to face Matchday 8 at 2pm (Spanish Time) this Sunday against Granada CF at the Power Horse Stadium; a game without former head coach Vicente Moreno after his dismissal and with the presence of UD Almería 'B' gaffer Alberto Lasarte, who has taken charge of the senior team on an interim basis. He will will be at the helm of the first team until the arrival of the new head coach.

After these circumstances, after not winning a match in the championship this campaign and collecting only two points, although they deserved more and being the current bottom team, the only way if beating direct rivals Granada CF, who are only two points ahead in the standings. It's time to bounce back now, to make their presence known in the LaLiga EA Sports.

Mr Lasarte has stated at the pre-Granada  presser: 'This is everyone's game' and urged the fans to be cheering on their team this Sunday. As the temporary coach also said, he is looking forward to dedicating the loyal fans the the first joy of the season. There have been matches in which, despite not winning, the Indálicos have been close to adding three points at once, but the severe drubbing in Seville last Tuesday and the way it happened has caused a lot of damage.

The players are willing to reverse the situation, even if the former coach had to be fired to do so. After a recovery training on Wednesday, after the appointment at the Sánchez Pizjuán, Alberto Lasarte has conducted three practices to prepare for the imminent match. The last two delivered on Friday and Saturday, have been held at 1pm to help the players become more accustomed to the kick-off set by LaLiga (2pm local time).

The team will meet this Saturday late in the afternoon waiting to face a league appointment of the utmost importance for their aspirations, even if only seven Matchdays have gone, but it is reality.
