UD Almería eager to build on recent form as they return home

The Rojiblancos aim to strengthen their run in LaLiga Hypermotion with Saturday’s home assignment against Real Zaragoza

UD Almería are determined to continue their positive momentum as they prepare to host Real Zaragoza at home on Saturday. The Rojiblancos have secured 7 points from the last 9 available, marking a strong recovery after two consecutive defeats to Racing de Santander and Real Valladolid CF. With back-to-back away games now behind them, UD Almería are eager to capitalise on their home advantage and strengthen their position in the league.

Under head coach Rubi, UD Almería have found a balance between defensive stability and attacking potential. While the team have been effective at keeping opponents at bay, the attacking line has yet to fully capitalise on its offensive strength. Despite this, the Rojiblancos’ solid defensive play has been enough to keep them competitive, as seen in their recent victories over Sporting de Gijón and UD Las Palmas and a share of the spoils with RC Deportivo La Coruña last week.

The team's sights are now set on Real Zaragoza, who are struggling in the relegation zone but are always dangerous when wounded. UD Almería are wary of the Aragonese side’s potential to react, especially after a mixed start to the season that has seen them pick up a win, a draw and two losses on the road. Despite their struggles at home, Real Zaragoza will be formidable opponents, and UD Almería are focused on claiming all 3 points to keep up their push in LaLiga Hypermotion.

With a packed schedule ahead, including upcoming trips to Córdoba and a string of Spanish Cup ties, UD Almería are focused on keeping their momentum going, maintaining positive performances and ultimately pushing for promotion in the competitive second-tier league.
