UD Almería prepare for testing away trips against newly-promoted sides

The Rojiblancos face two consecutive matches away from home against Cultural Leonesa and Real Sociedad 'B'

UD Almería have completed their recovery session following a home opener and will take a well-earned day off this Wednesday before shifting focus to their upcoming away fixtures. The Rojiblancos are set to face two newly-promoted teams in back-to-back matches on the road: Cultural Leonesa and Real Sociedad 'B'.

After a successful start to the 2025/26 season at the UDA Stadium, Rubi’s side now turns their attention to the challenge of performing away from home. The upcoming encounters will provide a crucial test as both Cultural Leonesa and Real Sociedad 'B' are making their respective home debuts in the Spanish second division after earning promotion.

Next Sunday, at 7:30 pm (Spanish Time), the historic Reino de León stadium will host its first professional match in 7 years, with the new turf in place for the occasion. UD Almería will be the first test for Cultural Leonesa in front of their home crowd.

Meanwhile, Real Sociedad 'B' are expected to open their new stadium in Zubieta, San Sebastián, for their clash against the Indálicos, following their debut at Anoeta earlier this season.

With the team eager to secure their first victory of the campaign, UD Almería will aim to bounce back before returning to the UDA Stadium on Matchday 4 to host Racing de Santander.
