UD Almería Women gear up for play-off second-leg showdown
The Rojiblancas remain focused despite commanding first-leg advantage
UD Almería Women are preparing for the second leg of their promotion play-off to the Segunda RFEF. The decisive clash takes place on Sunday at 12 noon at the Emilio Campra youth stadium where they will face SD Nueva Montaña from Santander.
After a dominant 0–4 away victory in the first leg, the tie appears all but sealed in favour of the Rojiblancas. However, the Rojiblancas are taking nothing for granted. With promotion within touching distance, the squad is maintaining full concentration and respect for their opponents, knowing there are still 90 minutes left to play.
UD Almería Women are determined to finish the job and secure the long-awaited promotion, capping off what has already been an outstanding season. The team established clear dominance from start to finish in Group IX of the Tercera RFEF and outperformed their counterparts from the western Andalusian group in coefficient rankings.
