UD Almería begin pre-season push with Marbella Training Camp

10-day stay at Westin La Quinta includes friendlies lined up ahead of league opener against Albacete Balompié and integration of new summer signings

UD Almería have travelled to Marbella for a 10-day pre-season training camp as they step up preparations for the 2025/26 campaign. The Rojiblancos will be based once again at The Westin La Quinta Golf Resort & Spa, a familiar venue that offers top-class facilities and a safe training environment.

The squad made the journey after completing a session at the Anexo ground, travelling in two team coaches and a van loaded with equipment. During their stay, UD Almería will also play their first 3 pre-season friendlies as head coach Rubi continues to fine-tune his squad ahead of their Segunda opener against Albacete Balompié on Monday, 18 August.

7 UD Almería new signings – Andrés Fernández, Nélson Monte, Chirino, Soko, Álex Muñoz, Marcos Luna, and Dzodic – have joined the group, while returning loanees Embarba, Marcos Peña, and Quintanilla have also been included.

Several standout players from the 'B' team, including Jesús López, Pedro Fidel and Perovic, have been called up to train with the first team during the training camp.
