UD Almería Women planning next season with clear objective of promotion

The Rojiblancas, who have been unluckily relegated to lower-tier Primera Nacional do not want to take too long to promote back to Segunda RFEF

UD Almería Women could not achieve their goal of staying up in the Segunda RFEF and therefore will compete in lower-tier Primera Nacional next season with the clear objective of achieving promotion. It has been a really tight half bottom table in which the Rojiblancas have been fighting to their strengths to escape the drop until the penultimate Matchday. However, their last dismal defeat to Canarias-based direct rivals Unión Viera sealed their relegation unluckily.

The Indálicas will rise again as they feel confident in promoting back to the Segunda RFEF next term. Both the Club and the coaching staff are now planning for the coming season.

The girls have finished training this Wednesday since, despite the fact that there is still one more Matchday to go, they will not play that game because opponents Santa Teresa are already out of the competition as a no-show team. As a result, UD Almería Women will add three points from that fixture that unfortunately will not be enough for them to save the campaign.
