UD Almería Women are not playing this weekend due to competition break

Next week, the Rojiblancas will earn 3 points without playing a single match as they would have to face Ciudad Alcalá CF, who withdrew from the league

UD Almería Women will have a two-week break in the Tercera RFEF tier, with 4 league matches remaining. This weekend, there will be no women's club competitions, and next weekend, the Rojiblancas will also not have a match, although they will earn 3 points because they would have to face Ciudad Alcalá CF, who withdrew from the league.

The Almería girls' team went into this break in 6th place in the standings, already far from the places that would give them a chance of playing in the promotion play-offs. The top-two teams earn automatic promotion, and the third-ranked side is playing the promotion play-offs, but they are 13 points behind the Indálicas with 12 points left to play.

There would be another option: the two best fourth-place finishers from the 6 groups in the division would also compete in the promotion play-offs. For now, there are possibilities this way, although the gap to Sevilla FC B, who currently occupy this spot, is 8 points. While the time comes to return to competition, the UDA girls' squad continues with their usual training.
