UD Almería remain two points clear of drop zone

The Rojiblancos are now preparing the next game against Elche CF. The squad train this Monday evening. Babić is back. Kaiky to undergo medical tests

UD Almería remain two points clear of the relegation zone with Espanyol de Barcelona being the third bottom at the minute once Matchday 32 is over. Despite their defeat at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, the Rojiblancos are still safe with six fixtures remaining.
 
UD Almería sit 16th level on points with Valencia CF (17th) once Cádiz CF leapfrogged them this weekend. Espanyol de Barcelona, Getafe CF and Elche CF are those teams in the drop zone. 
 
Real Valladolid CF -waiting to play their game in this match week- and Cádiz CF, with 35 points to their tally are the ones above UD Almería in the table. 
 
UD Almería are to welcome Elche CF with the obligation to win again and take a new step towards LaLiga Santander survival. 
 
The UD Almería squad, who had one more recovery training session this Sunday, will train again this Monday evening (7pm) at the Power Horse Stadium to prepare for the match against Elche CF.
 
Babić is up for grabs again after serving a one-game suspension, while Kaiky, who was injured on Friday before travelling to Madrid, is waiting for his medical test results.
