High-risk clash: UD Almería vs Málaga CF

Special security measures in place as away fans restricted to designated areas and no ticket sales at the Stadium

The Matchday 36 clash between UD Almería and Málaga CF, set for Sunday, 19 April at 9pm Spanish Time at the UD Almería Stadium, has been officially declared a high-risk fixture by the State Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport, under the Ministry of the Interior.

The short distance between the cities, both Andalusian outfits battling for promotion, currently third and fourth with just 1 point separating them, and the expected large crowd of Málaga CF supporters have all contributed to this decision.

A special security operation will be in place, including increased police presence, private security staff and additional checks to ensure the match runs smoothly.

Due to the high-risk classification, Málaga CF fans will only be allowed in the designated away section, with an allocation of 400 tickets, separate from those reserved for club officials, players, and staff.

Any Málaga CF supporters found outside the allocated area may be removed from the Stadium if they cannot be relocated appropriately.

Additionally, Stadium ticket offices will remain closed on Matchday. All tickets must be purchased online, with Málaga CF tickets available exclusively through their club.
