UD Almería regret pre-match incidents outside Stadium

UD Almería have expressed their regret following the incidents that took place prior to the match against Málaga CF, which resulted in 5 arrests, 4 of them involving visiting supporters and one a home fan, as well as a Rojiblanco supporter being taken to the Hospital Torrecárdenas. The Club wishes the fan a swift recovery.

The disturbances occurred outside the UD Almería Stadium, in the surrounding areas, as supporters from both teams gathered while awaiting the arrival of their respective squads.

These regrettable incidents prevented what had all the makings of a complete footballing occasion. Inside the ground, more than 16,000 fans created a big-match atmosphere and the game itself proved thrilling, ultimately decided in the 91st minute in UD Almería’s favour.
