UD Almería to have 1,000 'players' at the Castalia stadium

The Rojiblancos sold out their allocation of more than 500 tickets within minutes, with a huge travelling crowd set to roar the team on in Castellón

The story may have become a familiar one, but it should never lose its significance. UD Almería's supporters have followed their team to every Segunda tier stadium throughout the regular season and they will once again make their presence felt at SkyFi Castalia stadium for the first leg of the promotion play-off semi-finals.

Around 1,000 loyal Almerienses are expected to be in Castellón on Saturday, providing a sea of red and white support as the team looks to secure a positive result away from home.

The Club sold out the 500-ticket allocation provided by CD Castellón within minutes, while many more supporters have secured seats independently to attend the crucial encounter, which kicks off at 9pm Spanish Time on Saturday.

Despite the distances involved and the logistical challenges of travelling across Spain, UD Almería's travelling support has become one of the Club's greatest strengths in recent years. Their presence in stadiums up and down the country continues to provide invaluable backing for the team at a decisive stage of the season.
