UD Almería determined to remain in survival picture

The Rojiblancos host slick Athletic Club de Bilbao, who have earned 19 points as visitors and look to secure a stab at the European leagues

UD Almería are ready to take on Athletic Club de Bilbao at the Power Horse Stadium this Saturday in a 4:15pm kick-off (Matchday 30). The match will pull in the crowds on the grounds that there is a lot at stake in the battle for survival, especially hosting one of the best Spanish football clubs ever.

The Rojiblancos rely on their home comforts since they are one of the best home outfits of the league. They will compete to their limits and beyond to collect all three points and thus, take a huge step towards LaLiga Santander safety. Rubi's side has to be their best version of themselves since Athletic, who have beaten all of UD Almería's fellow strugglers away from home, are looking to secure a stab at the UEFA Champions, Europe or Conference Leagues.

As we approach the business end of the season, the Power Horse Stadium has to turn into fortress for the Indálicos. A rocking atmosphere is highly expected in the stands and the strong support of the UD Almería fans will be essential to defeat the Basque country side.

Chumi is likely to return to the starting XI after serving a one-game ban as well as Pozo, who has got rid of some muscle fatigue. On the contrary, Akieme is still ruled out while Ramazani, who at the Cívitas Metropolitano was yellow carded for the fifth time this term, will also miss out.

The Rojiblancos have carried out one last practice this Friday evening before getting together in a pre-match meeting this Saturday.
