UD Almería to return for pre-season start on Sunday, 9th July
The Rojiblancos are undergoing their fitness tests and medical assessments on 7th-8th July and will be training in Marbella from 21st to 31st July
UD Almería will be reporting for the 2023/24 pre-season training on Sunday, 9th July at the Power Horse Stadium, although before that, on 7th-8th July, all the squad members will be undergoing their fitness tests and medicals. During the first two weeks, the Rojiblancos will carry out their training sessions in Almería city at the Anexo ground and also in the Power Horse Stadium, where the team has a gym and other facilities for their preparation.
The UD Almería travelling squad will have a pre-season programme in Málaga under the guidelines of the newly appointed head coach Vicente Moreno from 21st to 31st July. They will stay and put in the off-season work at The Westin La Quinta Golf Resort & Spa, a complex located in the town of Benahavís. The team will also use the facilities of the Marbella Football Center, very close to the team hotel, where they will train and play some of the friendlies that are being scheduled ahead of the new season in the Spanish top flight.
UD Almería have already been at The Westin La Quinta Golf Resort & Spa and the Marbella Football Center in previous pre-seasons and even in the mid-season break that took place last autumn due to the World Cup in Qatar.
